The "Liverpool Kiss" by artist Alex Corina which was launched in September 2003 and presented to Sir Richard Branson followed the Mona Lennon. The "Liverpool Kiss" continues the theme of symbolising Liverpool's cultural aspirations using another classical icon, Rodin's "Kiss" in a studio over looking Liverpool's Liver Building.
